welcome guys this is a weapon comparison video between two sniper rifles the car 98 versus the m24 these two are the only bolt action sniper rifles that will spawn randomly on the ground so let's compare them and find out which one is better for you starting with the damage comparison without any armor we can see the base damage of the weapons where the m24 clearly has highest both the weapons can one-shot the opponent when shooting in the head but while shooting in the chest only the m24 has the ability to one shot the opponent a big advantage for m24 in early games with level one armor headshots are still one shot kill on both the weapons however the body shots are not moving on to the level two vest still both the weapons has the ability to instant kill with a headshot and if your opponent is using a level 3 armor none of the weapons will one shot kill with a headshot but still the m24 does more damage overall and now we will compare the bullet velocity as well as the bullet drop between car 98 and m24 so the m24 has the bullet velocity of 790 meters per second while the car 98 has 760 meters per second the bullet velocity basically means the speed of the bullet the faster your bullet travels the faster you will hit your enemy so higher is better by the way these bullet velocities are taken from real life and it should be similar in game now to the bullet drop both the car 98 and m24 has similar bullet drop but however the m24 will have less bullet drop due to its bullet velocity or bullet speed if the bullet travels faster then the bullet drop will be lesser the bullet drop will mostly occur when you're sniping at 300 meters the bullet will hit slightly lower than the place where you aimed at this happens due to the gravity to fix the bullet drop you just need to aim a bit higher than usual but for 8x you can use the first vertical black dot as shown in the clip this will perfectly work for both the m24 and car 98 even though they have different bullet velocity the results will be identical moving on to the reloading speeds first we will test both weapons without any attachments and later with attachments the car 98 takes about 2.4 seconds to reload one bullet in the magazine and 3.1 seconds to reload two bullets 3.9 seconds to reload three bullets and 4.6 seconds to reload four bullets in the magazine and to fully reload five bullets in the magazine it will take about 3.9 seconds and the m24 takes about 1.8 seconds to reload from one to four bullets left in the magazine and to fully reload the m24 it takes around four seconds so the m24 has the ability to do tactical reloading however with the attachments the reloading speed significantly increases but the results will be the same the m24 will reload faster now the rate of fire comparison or how quickly you can fire between shots the m24 can shoot second faster than the car 98 giving the ability for m24 to quickly engage or fire while fighting against car 98 the hip fire accuracy seems to be better with a car 98 which is noticeable by the crosshair being slightly smaller when holding a car 98 this is an indication that car 98 has better hip fire accuracy which you can test it out by yourself too now to the flash visibility comparison between car 98 and m24 [Music] and when going further away the flash visibility is identical on both the weapons and now to the sound comparison so i did the same test with all the same attachments and the audible range of the car 98 and m24 is identical the only difference is they both sound differently but sometimes it's very hard to determine which sniper is it in final conclusion the m24 has higher damage and faster bullet velocity which means less bullet drop and also m24 has faster reloading speeds but has also a tactical reloading feature where car 98 doesn't have however car 98's hip fire accuracy is better than the m24 the m24 has faster rate of fire and the flash visibility and sound audible range is identical so both weapons have different strengths and weaknesses however m24 has more advantages over a car 98 so overall m24 is a better weapon and will be the preferred choice for most of the players by the way this video is inspired and the concept is based on wacky jackie's video check out wacky's video to learn more about the weapons link is in description anyway that's all i got for this video i hope you learned something new if you did hit the like button and subscribe for more upcoming videos like these
